The most amazing event that I ever encountered was the birth of my children, Mark and Lisa.  My pregnancy with my older son Mark was very normal, but Lisa (who came 6 years later) was a different story.  My doctor made a decision for induction because I was ten days past my due date.  He ruptures my water and advised me to walk around on my floor.  Several hours later my Lisa was born. The reason why I chose this story because I want people to know that there’s always good in a bad situation. Birth is a beautiful experience.

India is one of the most high-risk places in the world to give birth, even though their economy is booming.   In 2010, 56,000 women died during childbirth due to poor hospital conditions and the lack of prenatal care.
