Sharing Web Resources

The name of the organization that I selected is NBCDI which stands for National Black Child Development Institute.  The link to their website is http://www.nbcdi.org/.  The mission of this institute is to educate and provide advocacy for Black children and their families in order to improve and advance their quality of life. The main focus for this organization has been on achieving positive outcomes for vulnerable children who suffer from the dual legacies of poverty and racial discrimination. One current issue from the website that caught my attention is that they have a section that is titled Child Health Talk.  Under this heading they will be discussing the lasting impact of mentoring black boys.
